I know I know… I am very late with this post but better now than never right? This time I am quite determined to accomplish my resolutions. Well anyways let’s get to it!
- Be able to have a normal conversation in French
If you guys didn’t know, I am actually learning French in school. I am able to make sentences and write essay. The problem is when I try to watch something in French, I am not able to catch exactly what they are saying. Also when I write passages, I tend to think them in English and then translate to French, I have heard that this is not a good habit and that I should be able to think in French also. Hopefully by the end of this year I would be able to broaden my vocabulary in French and speak in French without taking small intervals to translate.
- Study more and work hard
I actually want to pay more attention to my studies mainly because I will be having my Checkpoint examinations in April. Though I get really good marks in my school exams, I am still worried. Not to mention that next year I will be doing my IGCSE’s which I have heard are way more difficult.
- Spend less time on electronic gadgets
If you didn’t know I tend to use my phone and laptop (mainly during holidays) a lot like seriously A LOT. I really need to reduce the time I spend on it especially during school. I don’t want to get distracted by social media like Instagam, Facebook and lets not forget Youtube.
- Blog more
My school is reopening on the 11th of January and I will get quite busy with the homeworks and assignments, but I will try to find time to blog. If anyone of you have suggestions or ideas of what I should post, please don’t hesitate to write them in the comments below.
- Get more followers
I am not sure if I can achieve this but I actually would be very happy if I got 40 – 50 followers by the end of 2016. It would mean a lot to me if I reach that many followers. I know it’s a lot but I am striving to get it…
- Sleep earlier
I mostly sleep at 11 30 or sometimes even 12 (mostly during holidays) and once again the reason is being distracted by watching television or reading a book. This has become a habit, one I should stop as soon as possible. I decided it would be best if I sleep at around 10 or 10 30, no later than that.
- Be more confident!
If you didn’t know I am that type of girl who is very shy when I meet new people but very outgoing with friends. My mom always says that I have to talk more confidently and I guess she is right, I seriously have to.
