Well this is the last day of the Three Day Quote Challenge.
Thank you to Raven Wings, Genesisthe1 and My Crazy Obsession With Books for nominating me to do this.

Rules :

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days.
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Here is the quote….

quote3

Nothing in this world is perfect and it is meant to stay that way. We are all human beings, we are not perfect and we make mistakes, that’s how it is supposed to be. We learn from these mistakes and ensure not to repeat them. Life is a continuing process of learning something and correcting our errors. Always allow yourself to be corrected in order for you to become a better person. Being perfect is just a dream but being a more knowledgeable and better person than you are today is way more realistic and surely achievable. Strive to be one as all you have to do is accept your flaws and love yourself the way you are.

My nominees :

Bye everyone! 😀

Three Day Quote Challenge part two Day 1

Hi everyone!! How are you all doing?
Sorry for being so inactive and not posting for a week, I have been very busy with school. I had four tests this week, I am so glad they are all over. Wohoo!
As you might (or might not) know, I am quite behind on some awards and tags. 😦 To all those people who have nominated me, don’t worry I will surely do them but I might take some time. Sorry!
Anyways today I will doing the Three Day Quote Challenge part two nominated by three wonderful people – Raven Wings, Genesisthe1st and My Crazy Obsession With Books. Thank you so so much for nominating me to do this.
My sincere apologies to Raven Wings for doing this challenge so late and not mentioning you when I did the first one. I had forgotten that you had nominated me. I am so sorry… I realized it when I checked my notebook where I had written about all the awards and tags and found out that you had actually nominated me earlier. Whoops!

Rules :

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days.
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day.

The quote for the first day is…

quote1

This is actually one of my favourite quotes. We should all remember that if one plan fails, we still have many more different ways to do it that can in turn lead to success. One example would be of Thomas Edison who had invented the long-lasting electric light bulb. He had failed many times but he didn’t lose determination until finally he succeeded. So everyone, never give up on anything!

My nominees:

Alright bye everyone.. I will be back tomorrow with the quote of Day 2. 😀

Book review – The Year I Met You by Cecelia Ahern

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Hope you are having an awesome day!
Today, I am going to do a book review on “The Year I Met You” by Cecelia Ahern. Before I start off this review I want to thank everyone who had wished me luck for my exams. Thank you all so much! On a further note, my exams went really well.
Ok then let’s get to the review…

This book focuses mainly on Jasmine, a successful business woman. She is young and is definitely considered as a workaholic. She loves doing her job until one day she got fired and was forced to take one year’s gardening leave which meant that she would be paid but can’t work anywhere else and especially cannot join any competitive company. Jasmine is not the kind of person who could enjoy a year of holiday just chilling and relaxing but she felt that this was an opportunity for her to catch up on some family and friends’ time. For the first few weeks, she was able to stay relaxed and enjoy this time she had with her loved ones but as time passed, she was bored out of her mind.

What annoys her most is her neighbour, Matt’s late night rackets which manages to wake the whole neighbourhood. Matt is a successful radio presenter and DJ who is put on a temporary leave for all the catastrophes he has caused in his radio station. Matt always comes home at a late hour in a drunken state and starts shouting at his house while blaring music in his car. Soon, his family moves out of the house leaving a spare key with Jasmine. Jasmine has despised Matt ever since he hosted an extremely heartless show revolving around Down syndrome, a topic very important to her because her sister, Heather has it.

When I first started reading this novel, I found it to very confusing to understand their backgrounds but as the story continued, I became hooked. You could say I was engrossed in the book as I found it quite captivating. We are able to see the close friendship between Jasmin and Heather and how protective Jasmine is of her sister. The gardening leave had made Jasmine incredibly depressed but she was able to overcome this emotion. A very unlikely friendship blossoms between Jasmine and Matt and their late night talk along with another neighbour was always so interesting to read. Honestly speaking, I would say that I had really enjoyed reading this book. This was certainly a very thought-provoking story in the end.
(So I decided to rate books that I review from now on)

4/5

My favourite quote from this book is “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly…”

Have you read this book? What were your thoughts on it? Anyway that’s the end of this post! I hope you enjoyed. Bye everyone! See you all later 😀

A little break

Hi everyone! How are you doing? 😀 Hope you are having a good day!
This is yet another quick post! I just wanted to inform you all that I will be inactive on my blog and my Instagram for the next two weeks. 😦 This is because my Cambridge Checkpoint exams are in a week and I am busy revising for them. Posting during that time will also distract me from studies so I am restraining from that. I mean you all know how inquisitive you are after posting something wondering about what people will think about, their feedback and all that, because I certainly am and whenever I get comments from you all, it literally make my day.

So… I won’t be uploading any posts or reading any of your posts for the next couple of weeks. I hope you understand and I’ll see you all later! Bye! 🙂
